🏍️ Good Friends, Fast Rides & the Soul of the Road
We are going to change things up today for those of you that don't know I've always had a passion down in my soul for motorcycles, hot rods, and getting into craziness with all my outlaw friends.Â
Some people call it hanging out. I call it living. There’s nothing quite like rolling out with your buddies — bikes gleaming, rat rods rumbling, and laughter echoing louder than the engines. It’s therapy with wheels and wrenches. When we’re together, everything slows down and speeds up all at once. It’s freedom, friendship, and just enough chaos to feel alive.
🔧 The Garage Is Our Church
There’s something special about a garage full of good folks and good noise. Someone’s under a hood, someone’s telling a story that gets bigger every time, and someone’s just there to laugh and hand over a wrench. The air smells like gas, oil, and possibility.
We don’t just build machines — we build memories. Every rat rod, every bike, every busted knuckle has a story. There’s beauty in the grit, in the mistakes, and in the satisfaction of firing up an engine you brought back to life. It’s not about perfection. It’s about soul.
I have my very own 66' Chevy C-10 that was my daddies that means the very world to me I had to turn into memories making it have character like he had. There’s nothing like the look of a rat rod — raw metal, rough edges, and personality for days. Rat rods aren’t about polish; they’re about power, passion, and personal touch. Each one is a reflection of its owner — a mix of creativity, rebellion, and history. You don’t find them in showrooms. You find them in garages, backroads, and hearts that crave the real over the refined.
That’s what makes it magic. You can’t fake that kind of character — it’s earned, built, and lived.
I also have an amazing 95' Harley Sportster that my beautiful mama gave me. I love putting her in the wind. She is a custom too, that my mama designed! My mama also taught me how to ride and there is nothing like getting to ride with her. Talk about making memories! When the crew hits the road, it’s more than just a ride. It’s a reminder that life’s meant to be felt. The rumble under your boots, the wind against your face, the way the world disappears for a while — that’s the kind of peace you can’t explain, only experience.
Sometimes we ride to nowhere, sometimes to clear our heads, and sometimes to remember the ones who rode before us. Either way, every mile feels like home.
At the end of the day, it’s not about the rods or the bikes — it’s about the people. The Legends you learn from, ones who always show up, get their hands dirty, laugh loud, and live free. It’s about those nights under the stars with the sound of engines cooling off and stories heating up.
That’s the SoulShine way — grit, gratitude, and good company. Because when you’ve got a solid crew, a full tank, and an open road, you’ve already got everything you need.
