💫 My Story – Born a Rebel with Soul

For those who don’t know me, I was born a rebel with soul—no doubt about it. From hot rods and motorcycles to rodeos, guitars, songwriting, and travel, I’ve always walked a road paved with passion and grit. I get my rebel side from my daddy and my soulful, sweet side from my mama—which is exactly how SoulShine Artistry got its name. “Soulshine” has been my mama’s nickname for me since I was little, and she’d walk into my room singing, “You are my soulshine, my only soulshine, you make me happy when skies are gray.”

Like many, my life’s been full of highs and lows, but I’ve always managed to come out on top—by the grace of God. I’m blessed and highly favored, above and not beneath, the head and not the tail. I’ve done a little bit of everything in this wild ride we call life, and I like to say I’m a jack of all trades but a master of none—lol. From being a cowgirl chasing dreams and placing high in barrel racing, to competing in cheerleading and sports, loving all things to do with art, even interior design, as well as photography and graphic design, to building my own rat rod and forging a custom sissy bar for my bike, all while remodeling campers and rv's  I’ve always had a passion for creating and fixing things. One of my greatest accomplishments was recorded music in Nashville at legendary studios like Blackbird and The Tracking Room, wrote and played with some of the greatest names in music history, and you can find my songs on every major streaming platform. But even blessings come with curveballs—during that time in Nashville, I lost my hero, my daddy, and my world shifted.

I took some wild detours, running my mama’s bar (Crazy Acres Bar & Grill), raising a little too much hell, while playing music, and living fast. But every road—no matter how bumpy—led me right here. After traveling and playing music for three years, I found new inspiration on a hiking trip. I picked up a cowboy hat, burned my art into it, and it sold like wildfire. That spark grew into something bigger—SoulShine Artistry, a space where I blend all my loves: art, music, grit, and style.

I’ve always been a fly-by-night kind of soul—just rolling with the flow and chasing the next sunrise. I created this brand for people like me: dreamers, rebels, and free spirits who live out loud and love with heart.
